What information is processed?

If you email us, we receive the personal information you choose to provide. If the website contact form is enabled, it processes your name, email address, enquiry topic and message; we do not store another copy of your message in a WordPress submissions database. Our web host may process technical server logs.

Purposes and legal basis

We use this information to respond to enquiries and discuss potential collaboration or volunteering. We may rely on our legitimate interest in handling correspondence. We do not automatically subscribe visitors to marketing.

Preventing spam

To reduce spam, the form checks messages and briefly limits repeated submissions using a protected version of the connecting IP address. That temporary record expires after about 15 minutes. Messages are sent to our association inbox.

Cookies and external services

The supplied website has no advertising pixels, remote web fonts, embedded maps, social embeds or analytics trackers. WordPress may use necessary administrator cookies for logged-in staff. Additional plugins and hosting tools can change these practices and must be reviewed.

Retention and service providers

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to respond and handle related follow-up, or longer when the law requires it. Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Email and hosting providers may process data to deliver messages and operate the website. Contact us if you have a question about the handling of your data.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Contact steun@mosango.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
